Data and Analytics Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data and Analytics Specialist with 5 to 10 years of experience in reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This role is perfect for someone who is excited to work for an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company and is internally motivated to drive success.
This position will be in the IT department of our Business & Building Services LLC, providing data and analytics support to all legal entities in the corporation (currently five). The position reports to the Manager of Enterprise Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions to support business decision-making.
- Work directly with business users in all levels of the organization
- Analyze data from CRM and ERP systems to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver accurate reports.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across various platforms.
- Able to facilitate collaboration in a flexible organization structure.
- Comfortable working directly on initiatives as well as leveraging key strategic partnerships where appropriate.
- Start strategic initiatives for more advanced reporting, including enhancing our ability to generate predictive analytics.
- Identify trends and patterns in data to support strategic initiatives.
- Full ownership of the data lifecycle from the core systems, the data storage, the ETL and the reporting schemas.
- Implementing and maintaining the security to data, reports and analytics, aggressively respecting the boundaries of legal entities, departments and positions within the organization.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in data reporting and analytics.
- Strong understanding and experience with both CRM and ERP systems.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good organization and time management skills are a must, as this is a critical job in a dynamic and growing organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Common sense and practical approach to problem-solving.
- Enthusiastic about working in an ESOP environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Technical Skills
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Technologies, specifically Power BI.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Finance & Operations a huge plus.
- Keen understanding of data relationships, data transformation strategies and data maturity models.
- Good experience with MS Data Lakes Gen 2 technology, and ideally MS Fabric.
