We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Consultant who can work directly with customers to implement, upgrade, and customize modules in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) or Finance & Operations (F&O).

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Implementation

• Lead and manage full-cycle D365 Finance & Operations or Business Central implementations from requirement gathering to post-go-live support.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system configurations and solutions.
• Analyse customers’ needs and business processes.
• Write functional specifications, fit-gap analyses, and business analysis documents.
• Lead and participate in the development and execution of test plans and test scenarios.
• Advise and support customers in configuring and carrying out testing activities.
• Carry out development and functional testing.
• Work in collaboration with technical and support teams.
• Participate actively in all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Design and conduct user training workshops and create training materials.
• Coach and mentor less experienced functional consultants.

Upgrade & Customization

• Lead Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central upgrade projects and legacy ERP migrations to D365 Finance & Operations.
• Analyse existing customizations and perform fit-gap assessments to ensure alignment with business requirements and Microsoft best practices.
• Configure, customize, and extend D365 BC/F&O solutions to meet specific customer business needs.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and work closely with developers to deliver customizations, extensions, reports, workflows, and integrations.
• Conduct impact analysis and support application upgrades, updates, and release management activities.
• Participate in regression testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and upgrade validation activities.
• Support data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities during implementation and upgrade projects.
• Advise customers on replacing legacy customizations with standard D365 functionality wherever possible.
• Provide post-upgrade support, issue resolution, and system optimization recommendations.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience implementing, upgrading, customizing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) or Finance & Operations (F&O).
• Proven experience in end-to-end ERP implementations, upgrades, and migration projects.
• Strong expertise in business process analysis, solution design, and functional documentation.
• Experience with D365 version upgrades is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of finance, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, and distribution processes.
• Excellent customer-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with functional, technical, and support teams.
