Chennai, India, March 2, 2008: Anantara Solutions Private Ltd, a new generation outsourcing firm that pioneered Second Generation Outsourcing (SGO), today announced the appointment of Dr. L.S. Ganesh, Head, Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras as a Director on its Board.
Dr. L. S. Ganesh has been with the Management faculty of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras since 1987. His expertise has been sought for national and international projects sponsored by the World Bank and UNDP, and by professional bodies including the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Madras Management Association.
Commenting on Dr. Ganesh’s appointment, Mr. G.B. Prabhat, Founder and CEO, Anantara Solutions, said, “We are delighted that Dr. Ganesh has joined our board. Earlier, Dr. Ganesh had worked at Air India, Mumbai, and then served on the faculty at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi, and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.
Dr. Ganesh is a distinguished alumnus of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, Rajasthan, and earned his Masters and Ph.D degrees from IIT Madras.
