Job Description:

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior BC Technical Consultant to support our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects. This role involves assisting in day-to-day support, version upgrades, and implementation activities, working closely with senior consultants and functional teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Support & Maintenance
• Provide L1/L2 technical support for Business Central users.
• Debug and resolve technical issues related to extensions, integrations, and customizations.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot errors.

Upgrades
• Assist in BC version upgrades, including migrating objects, extensions, and custom code.
• Work on data migration, upgrade tool usage, and regression testing.
• Support conversion from C/AL to AL where required.

Implementation
• Participate in requirement gathering sessions with functional consultants.
• Develop and maintain AL extensions, APIs, and integrations.
• Support configuration, setup, and deployment in sandbox and production environments.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Collaboration
• Work with cross-functional teams (functional consultants, project managers, business users).
• Support UAT and end-user training by resolving technical queries.
• Follow best practices for coding, testing, and version control.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of technical experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
• Good knowledge of AL language (must) and basic understanding of C/AL.
• Familiarity with Business Central extensions, events, and APIs.
• Exposure to data migration, SQL Server, Power BI, or Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Basic understanding of business processes (finance, supply chain, manufacturing).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Knowledge of BC reporting tools (RDLC, Word layouts, Excel add-ins).
• Experience with third-party ISV integrations.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 Business Central (MB-800) is an advantage.
